The Best UV Ray Protection Sun Hat.

In tests conducted by the Hammacher Schlemmer Institute, this sun hat was rated best for sun protection, comfort, and ease of cleaning. The hat received a UV protection factor rating of 50--the highest UV protection standard in Australia where skin cancer rates are the highest in the world--from California Polytechnic State University's Textile Research and Testing Laboratory. It is made of tightly-woven 100% nylon with a 7 1/2" neck flap that also protects the ears, and a 4" brim that protects the face. The hat was selected as the most comfortable because it is lightweight, has side mesh panels that vent moisture and heat, an external sizing band, and a Coolmax® sweatband in the front of the rim.
